There are many great all-in resorts there, and it’s a extremely fun metropolis generally. From what I can see, Ocho Rios has fairly good snorkeling, even higher than nearby Montego Bay. Both of these get nice reviews and optimistic feedback on food, and my experience was the same. The one thing I’d point out about Punta Cana is that it’s most perfect for people who are mainly there to chill out domestically.
